augustus august (08/18) (#MMR041)

The final whistle, a playlist dedicated to the last 31 days of charm

Be honest, you’re already missing the heat? Some of you might say no, some may say the opposite. While many of us are reminiscing about the almost eternal Summer 2018, many of us are already cheering up for the next few weeks, where probably (oh we shouldn’t say that haha) the rain is going to dominate the sky.

As we will never say no to the sun, the ubiquitous combination of sultry air mixed with high levels of temperature made the last few weeks in August quite reminiscent.

And as we love to portray our last few days and weeks in an aural way, we came together to provide you with an amalgamation of the past, the now and the future. What does that even mean?

Let’s find it out:

While taking a closer look, you might going to recognise some names that have been part of an episode of one of the, but also some you may not. Speaking of which, you should listen to

TRUVONNE & his salubrious release , called CRAZYLOVE,

Empress Of, with her atmospheric oeuvre, titled Trust Me Baby,

Leuca & Mike Green, with their creation of sublimity, named Right Now,

Gavin Turek & her alluring upload, named WHITNEY,

& also ESCHES, with his bedazzling publication, called Nomads.

Talking about names again, it has been a pleasure to check out their latest works, additions to their discography. As we’re following a vast amount of inspiring people, friends & aural relatives, we felt to obliged to feature some of them again. Creative beings, such as

Open Ocean, with a smasher of a record, named Stars,

MTMBO, with another alluring creation, titled Flowers,

Petrie, with a stunning art collision with JESS, known as June,

J’Danna & her bedazzling upload named All I Need,

& also the group Garçons with their fascinating release, named Pink Dress.

While gathering chimerical productions for the last summer compilation (in this year, because you never know), the sheer endless variety of alluring discoveries was something that made it difficult to create a playlist with only 25 pieces. Thankfully, we could include some of them here. Make sure to check out

If I Didn’t Know You, an astral creation, produced by Lemin,

Easy For You, a flamboyant track, written by Moli,

Ooh Wee, a pleasing oeuvre, created by Your Smith,

Let Go, a astonishing piece, handmade by Rei Brown,

& also Goin’ Home, a groovy tune, produced by Barzo.

Perusing the SoundCloud realm for aural inspiration is something that we’d like to do the whole day. Yet, as our routine impede us going after our greatest passion, we’d like to share some thoughts over some artisans that we were able to discover during our latest venture. Get a closer look over

PARKER, with her fantastic piece, named DOUBLES,

Kingsbury & her lurid creation, titled All Gone,

Edina Mira, with her stirring track, called Gone,

Ninety’s Story & their captivating oeuvre, titled Kikuyu,

& also Jaune, with his blissful upload, called Calais.

The new #MMR-concept, indicates that we felt the necessity to change something. One idea was to give this more a personal touch. With 50 creations, it seemed to be unmanageable to make this happen. Another thought was implemented: a section of inspiring artists to watch over, inside each upcoming episode. Speaking of which, make sure to watch over

Denton Thrift with their electrifying piece, titled First Light,

OZNE & his aural cynosure, named Don’t Let Go,

ZACH SURP, with a chimerical creation, called ICU,

BBYTTH, with her alt. pop r&b hybrid, named Kenzie – Dark July,

& Laarsen, with his oeuvre of sublimity, titled Lavafields.

With a high concentration of grooviness and flabbergasting moments for your and our eardrums, we tend to say bye until the next article is up (SOONISH!). With this wide collection of 25 astonishing pieces, we wanted to dedicate our thoughts to this joyride called August. Fingers crossed that September won’t be a disappointment.

Alright, till the next time!

The Solar Team.
