octa october (10/17) (#MMR036)

With the year is coming to its end, we started to reminisce about the highlights from the last few weeks. While we seem to be more quiet with articles, features & stuff, there is nothing to worry about.

With november coming through the door, you’re going to hear from us pretty more, pretty soonish. In the meanwhile, we came back to the office, to share this collection with you & you.

As autumn already is going to its peak phase, we wanted to share creations that do represent the emotions & moments we had during the last few weeks.

Some you may recognize, some you may not. By saying this, we’re going to have a closer look over the creators behind these publications:

While taking a closer look, you might going to recognise some names that have been part of an episode of one of the, but also some you may not. Speaking of which, you should listen to

JEUNE GARÇON, with his alleviating creation, named Underestimate Love,

Monophobe & his salubrious art collision with Karma Art, named Try Midi, out now on Prrrrrrr,

F L E U R, with her atmospheric oeuvre, titled Never Gonna Change,

Maple & Beech & their alluring upload, named Sand Sing,

& also Skyepaint, with his bedazzling publication, called Maybe It’s My Fault.

Talking about names again, it has been a pleasure to check out their latest works, additions to their discography. As we’re following a vast amount of inspiring people, friends & aural relatives, we felt to obliged to feature some of them again. Creative beings, such as

Nik Soni, with his soothing record, named Let you down,

The collaboration of sublimity between Chanel Devi & Abel, with another alluring creation, titled Running,

ELIZA, with a stunning art collision with Tobo Tobo, known as Roses,

REL & her bedazzling collaboration with Robot Koch, named Consciousness,

& also Narrow Skies with their fascinating release, named A Memory Remains.

While gathering chimerical productions for this compilation, the sheer endless variety of alluring discoveries was something that made it difficult to creative a playlist with only 25 pieces. Thankfully, we could include some of them here. Make sure to check out

Solstice, an astral creation, produced by Empyrean Fields,

Waltz of Woe, a flamboyant track, written by Miles Pascall,

Hope Run Wild, a pleasing oeuvre, created by Nina Luna,

Place In My Heart, a astonishing piece, handmade by Jake Weisman,

& also Notice Me, a groovy tune, crafted by SPINN.

Perusing the realm of Soundcloud for inspiration is something that we’d like to do the whole day. Yet, as our routine impede us going after our greatest passion, we’d like to share some thoughts over some artisans that we were able to spot during our latest venture. Get a closer look over

Fifi Rong, with her fantastic piece, named The One,

Kissy & her lurid creation, titled Electric Dreams,

Zeina, with her stirring track, called What I Do,

Lucy Mason & her captivating oeuvre, titled Going Home Broke,

& also Georgia Meek, with her blissful publication, named Black Dog.

By working on a new #MMR-concept, we knew that it has been about time to make this series a bit different. One idea was to give this more a personal touch. With 50 creations, it seemed to be impossible to make this happen. Another thought was to implementing a section of inspiring artists to watch over, inside each upcoming episode. Speaking of which, make sure to watch over

EVENCE, with his electrifying piece, titled Broken Hearted,

George Young & his aural sedative, named Greatfall,

WHALES, with a chimerical creation, called Bangers,

Fitzroy, with his smasher creation, named Nonsense,

& JAMESCOLD, with his oeuvre of sublimity, named Patience.

Depicting October in an aural way has been an interesting endeavour to witness. Whether if we would accentuate the moments of sublimity, the seconds of joy or the soul-touching periods by being surrounded by lush vibes, all of these have been put together to make you feel what we felt. With this, we’d like to thank to all of the creators, the labels behind them, the groups that already support them but also the people, like you & you. We’re really grateful to keep on doing what we love to do the most: philosophising about art in every perspective.

Until the next time!

The Solar Team.
