07/16 – 07/23 (#FF116)

Rain on the Prism Tower:

With the rain knocking on the door, it has been its soothy and alluding demeanour that changed the direction our musical compass was guiding us for this week’s episode.

Appeasing yet animating, this word combination perfectly describes our last few weeks. With a promise to be more active with more articles, interviews and stuff in the future, we want to focus now on these 5 pieces that are part of our latest upload:

SHOR – Sirens
Sirens is already on our repeat playlist for a while now. A sticky track that has been crafted by the London-based artist Shor.

Whether if we would accentuate the butter crisp bass line, the ubiquitous melo composition or the soothing vocals, the whole concept of this creation is going to rivet your ear drums instantely.

As this piece is the second upload by this aspiring musician, you can be definitely sure that more is going to come in the upcoming weeks and months.

But in the meanwhile, make sure to listen to this lovely upload that is engulfing our surroundings with its sonic textures.

Rachel Faith – DFM
Have you ever listened to a Rachel Faith-piece? No? Well, we’re glad that we’re not the only ones.

After stumbling recently over her lovely collection of aural cynosures, we decided to showcase you the piece DFM as an example of her talent of expressing herself in a melodical way.

The track, which is out already for quite a while, defines itself as an amalgamation of shattering low frequencies (in forms of the catchy bass line) and a seraphic voice that circles around your head, your body and enchantes coevally your soul.

Such a captivating piece. Folks, if you’re at her page already, make sure to press the follow button. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to keep an eye of this promising artist.

Oh & if you’re around, share her music with your loved ones, because she is outrageously underrated.

JONES – Silver Screen
Remember JONES? The London resident and artist that sugar-coated our last pre-hiatus playlist with the lovely collaboration with Blakey?

No? Well then, it’s your lucky day. As we’re following her path for a while, we were stunned by Silver Screen, a track that is part of the alluring record, called New York.

By pressing play, you will encounter a glimmering voice that is accompanied by a piano composition that does not need to be embellished by more elements. These two key elements are surrounded by a pinch of a bass line that uplifts the whole release to new heights.

Folks, if you’re looking for some new inspiration, make sure to take a closer look over this artisan and her latest uploads. And if you’re already around, don’t forget to press on follow.

Melldu – Enola
The next track on this episode is a beaut of a release. As we received a lovely message from its creator, Melldu, a Moscow-based artist, we had the opportunity, or better said, the pleasure to listen to Enola.

Being part of his latest release, the Frustated extended play that has been published by netlabel NINETOFIVE records, the song stands out with its dark-yet-shimmering melo composition and the glimmering voice that circumvents everything between you and your headphones or sound system.

Already being on repeat for the last weeks, we decided to share you this solipsistic creation that goes somewhere in between Alternative R&B and Wave Music. Such a tremendous release. Thank you again for the share, Artem.

James Droll – Twist My Arm
Last piece of this week’s episode is called Twist My Arm, a creation crafted by Nashville resident and handicrafter James Droll.

We stumbled over this interesting musician while being on our latest aural itinerary in the realm of Soundcloud. What made him for us interesting was his adapt usage of synth compositions that impeccably merges with his voice into a amalgamation of sound structures that really enchants your ear drums for quite a while.

Quite a while, due to the fact that you probably going to press play again after you heard it for the first time. With his appearance in the Soundcloud Universe 2 years ago, the singer-songwriter really impresses with his musical output.

Yet, he is still quite underrated in our view. Based on the numbers of his total followers, he really deserves more. And this is where you and you are a big help. Folks, you can do us a favour by sharing this lovely musician with your loved ones, because reason a to z: the music speaks for itself.
