Oh, it has been a busy week. Another one is about to come. While sipping a coffee, writing down some notes for the next couple of days (hashtag: deadlines), we’re realising that we’re already having Mid-January. Time is passing by in light speed.
Yet, we’re happy that we got the chance to share some pieces that we’re listening to while being out.
Some people you’re going to recognise, some of them you may not, yet after this episode, you probably going to get yourself all tracks & put them on your playlist.
Anyways, let’s take a quick look over these pieces here:
It has not been a long time, since we have talked about this creative head here. If we’re not mistaken, the last time, it has been about his lovely My Boo – reinterpretation.
This time, it has been his latest release – the Happy Accidents– record that sugar-coated our last week from the beginning to its end.
The creation that is out for some days, convinces the listener with its mixture of chimerical synth compositions, pithy usage of fx’s & the shimmering acapellas that goes right under your skin.
As we were going through the whole set, the piece Waste My Time was the one that we adored the most, due to its mesmerising chord progression, the shivers you get while listening to it & of course, the voice that is engulfing your ear drums.
Sensational creation that we had the opportunity to listen to. Folks, if you’re looking for a record to listen to, now it is your chance to do that.
Get yourself a copy of this album, share the link with your loved ones & don’t forget to put it on your playlist on the go.
After hearing this piece a couple of times, we felt obliged to put this beat production on our playlist of the week.
But why? One reason might be that it is just the whole concept that makes you like it. Another one, the rhythm, so captivating.
A third one that pops out of our minds is the deft usage of words in rhymes that makes you feel the flow.
The artists, who came together to make this amalgamation of awesomeness (yes, we said that) reality, did something that we really miss in nowadays’ Rap music: feelings.
By pressing play, you’re going to be soaked in the GHOST.-realm, filled with authentic rhymes & chimerical bass lines, so that after the track is done, you will definitely click on the play button again.
With both artists having a vast collection of releases, we’d like to invite you to take a closer look over their uploads. Just alluring creations, so far.
Oh & if you’re there already, press follow so that you won’t miss any future updates. In case you do, we’ll gladly help out by make you remember it!
Next artist on the list is somebody, where we have to admit that we somehow lost sight of. Not sure, if it was a bug or just a sheer coincidence.
Thankfully, it was her last publication that guided us to her site back. By saying that, we’d like to exchange some thoughts about Auckland citizen & creative head Villette.
The artist recently has put out a stunning record that (after we heard it) has to be on this list. By naming it Drip Crimson, it has been an intriguing venture & an aural endeavour for us to witness.
With a talent to mix different elements from different genres, the Kiwi multi-talent has put out something that is worth to remember.
By choosing the creation Bag of Bones, we’d like to showcase you the sounding of the album in the best possible way. We firmly believe that it really epitomises the type of music that the handicrafter does want to convey.
Yet, as we’re always curious about other people’s opinion, we’d like to know from you & you, what you think about our choice?
Oh & folks, share the link with your friends, colleagues or anybody that pops out of your mind, because this lovely musician deserves it.
You know, we really can’t get enough to listen to artists, who were not aware of. One of them is this gifted man here, whose aural output obliged us to make a post about it.
The man, whose main focus is on Hip Hop & Rap music, entered the Soundcloud-stage around 2 years ago. Since then, he gained recognition by expanding his discography with gem, after gem, after gem.
By pressing play, you’ll be stuck inside the Wells-realm, with catchy rhythms, sticky verses & omnivorous flow that will surround your ear drums for some time.
Lovely tune, catchy beat, there is nothing more right now that we need. Folks, if you want to get yourself a copy, make sure to follow the instructions on the provided link of the track.
Oh & if you’re around already, do him a favour by going through his catalogue of aural sublimity.
As we have recently listened to his latest single that (yet, again) blowed our mind away, we were perusing the aural spheres of this talented handicrafter for another time. While letting the melodies guide us, we finally stumbled over this gem here.
Could be a fluke, could be destiny, but in the end, it doesn’t really matter. Our friend Matt, aka Great Skies provided with the piece Bruising just another reason why we should keep an eye on releases that we might have missed to check properly.
The creation that has been the result of an art collision with the London-based group Opal Blue, epitomises the sheer beauty & endless variety of nowadays electronic music.
Whether if we would accentuate the bright & crystal-clear voice, the sticky melo chord progression or just the whole arrangement, Bruising is something that we simply have to listen to over & over again.
By writing down these words, we’d like to invite you to check out these two names here, make sure to get your ears on their latest releases & be aware that there is more to come pretty soonish.
Folks, the new year has started. With these 5 pieces, we’d like to keep on doing where we stopped in 2017: presenting the variety & diversity of electronic music, which really in fact does not sound tedious or monotone. As we’re already in mid-january, we’re surely be back soonish! In the meanwhile, make sure to keep an eye on future updates & posts!
