#FF104: Anomie Code
Folks, it’s a pleasure to be back. Seeing the sun shining is the moment that we were looking for a long time.
It’s the mere thought that energises us in tremendous manner. Yes, you guessed it right. We’re in deep love with the summer. But who doesn’t?
Writing these words with joy, we’d like to share this emotion with you as well by sharing these astonishing pieces that we stumbled over, thankfully also due some recommendations of the lovely Grime Disciple-channel. Focusing on the content of this part of the anthology, we’d like to say nothing before & skip this intro.
So, shall we start? We think, we shall:
1. Swimful – Pearls
Starting the day with Pearls is what you definitely need to do now. The piece that has been part of this beaut of an extended play, released over by Shanghai-based label SVBKVLT is what we’d like to call an aural aspirin.
Why that determination? Because you’ll find this publication relieving your mind, alleviating your soul. By pressing play, you’ll be engulfed by its mesmerising rhythm that will be stuck in your ear drums for a period. Plus, while you might end up purchasing the record, be sure to stop over its progenitor.
Also being based in Shanghai, we’d like to invite you to take a closer over Swimful & his knack to fuse sino melo compositions with crisp bass lines.
Oh & btw, do not make the mistake that we made first: listening to it over laptop boxes, because otherwise you’ll not fully be surrounded by this sticky atmos.
Shout out to producer & label for sugar-coating our & soon your day. Lovely record, inspiring people, what do you need more for a Monday?
2. KAMI-O – BANG G3
Listening to the next piece made us ask ourselves, why in the world didn’t we stumble over that type of music before? The answer is probably clear: Because of finding these releases, you need to extend your network of fetching data. Sounds too analytical, but in fact it is the truth.
Thankfully, we recently had a small talkfest with one of our most favourite channels on Soundcloud that you can bumble to: Grime Disciple.
The bloke behind the channel sweetened our weekend with paragons of releases that have been uploaded on his Soundcloud-site. Some of them were added to our playlist, which we usually do not do quite often. One of them has been this one. Created by Glasgow resident KAMI-O, what you’re going to hear is impeccable fuse of a Hip Hop classic with his perception on Grime Music. Whether if we would accentuate the catchy melo of the original, the addition of the popsicle melting bass line, or the whole arrangement in general, the piece BANG G3 is something that we were looking for a long time.
Folks, hurry. Get yourself a copy of this stunner here, because it is for free. Oh & if you’re already on the channel, don’t forget to take a look over the other releases as well. Be sure to subscribe to KAMI’s channel, because there are more gems to come in the near future.
3. Rapture 4D – She Bad
Oh people, this one is pure jauntiness. Sorry for being repetitive, but this piece forced us. But who made us flabbergasted again in mere seconds?
The answer: Glasgow-based producer Rapture 4D. We luckily stumbled over the channel of this bloke here, while we used that part-time useful shuffle-function. By perusing the aural spheres that has been created by him, we finally made a stop over this piece of pulchritude, named She Bad.
The creation that can be seen a merger between Grime & R&B, is something that we thought you need to hear as well. As our intuition told us to do that, we were checking the rest of his stunning discography.
Being in a state of awe due his versatility & knack to use a profound diversity of sounds, we’d like to invite you & you to take a look over Rapture 4D.
Be sure to subscribe to his channel, share the link of She Bad with your loved ones & put it on your next playlist.
4. Polonis – I Have Nothing (Polonis Fluke Refix)
Listening to this one here made us wonder, why we didn’t make a Valentine’s day special. We somehow regret it now.
Speaking of which, we’d like to focus on this release here. Being part of the succulent Valentines-extended play that has been released over by our beloved friend from Grime Disciple, the creation mesmerised us with its catchy melo composition at first. As this is just a refix from the original, it triggered us to check the whole record out.
The album that can be seen as an art collision between Greenock-based Polonis & Glasgow-based GALLUS, is something that you need to get as soon as you bumble over it.
Refocusing on our pick of the record: whether if we would accentuate the chimerical merger between the melo compositions, the bass line or the pithy usage of acapella samples, the refix of I Have Nothing made us want to listen to it more & more.
Be sure to close your browser, because otherwise you will be listening to the whole record, the whole discography of both artisans & get yourself all the releases. Jokes aside, you probably should take yourself some time to wade through the aural spheres of Polonis & Gallus.
5. NSUS – Beam
Beam is the last piece on the list. Created by anonymous producer NSUS, what you’re going to hear is a trenchant Grime-piece that will end up on your playlist, period.
It’s not that we have to explain why, because we believe that the music does the job impeccably. But, if you’re wondering, we can say that the chimerical bass line, in combination with the atmospheric sounds, makes you want to listen it more than one time.
Hearing the massive kicks & drums over & over again, convinced us to make this track number 5 of the week. By ending the playlist with a stunner like this one here, we knew that this decision was probably the best one we made on this day.
Be sure to subscribe to NSUS-channel to get the news, when a new smasher finally comes online. Don’t forget to share the piece with your loved ones & put it on your playlist-on-the-go.
Be sure to check all the updates of the artists, their posts on Facebook, like their pictures on Instagram, give them a follow, hug to their labels & don’t forget to eat some vegetables. Ok bye.
If u want to send some cat pictures or simply to say hi, holla at:
The end of the tale, but not of this book.
