monday has begun & we’re happy that we’re back with a new episode on the ‘Flamboyant Five’-series. as we had to take a break during the last week for personal reasons, we’re pleased to present you a promisin’ panoply of gifted musicians, mesmerizin’ talents & rip-roaring individuals.
during the last week, all the news in the music were all around london & the closure of the goliath of club music history. unfortunately ‘Fabric’, the famous venue that was dominatin’ the club scene in london for the last few years, better said, decades, has been closed due the fact that their licence has been revoked & over 200 persons did lose their jobs they had for years.
yet, all these things are happenin’ & we need to look on the bright future. to talk about the future, we decided to dedicate this article almost completely to artists, groups, bands who are based in london & who we adore for their output they recently uploaded.
so, shall we start to talk about the playlist? we think, we should. article, number eighty-two, here we go:
1. Ndella – Gone
first song on the list, first gem to hear. and yes, it is one. what a stunner. released as a part of the ‘Odd Numbers Volume 1’ by london-based record label ‘37 Adventures’, you’re goin’ to hear yet another person, with an aural gift.
yes, we’re talkin’ about london-based artist ‘Ndella’ & her beautiful touch on her creation, called ‘Gone’. the singer, whose seraphic sound is goin’ to melt everything away around you is one of our most recent discoveries. the artist, who likes to keep the information that she provides simple & short, magically appeared on the soundcloud-universe just around a month ago. with the first release, which is part of this playlist here, it just shows you the potential, that is behind her.
it’s her knack for arrangin’ everything together, to create an opus that will stick in ears for a while. that opus gives you the energy to wait patiently for a new release. if that might not work out, why don’t you check out in the meanwhile the mellifluous compilation by the gents of ‘37 Adventures’?
it’s the mesmerizin’ output that will rivet your body & soul for some time, so be assured that you might dismiss some appointments.
2. FOURS – Painful To Watch
as we can see already that london is currently dominatin’ this article here, we’d like to use the flow & present you ‘FOURS’. call it alternative, call it pop, call it indie, call it whatever you want, but Edith, Dan, Jezza & Luke would mostly love to see & hear some love for their work from you & you. since we’re here around the morning, we needed at least an energetic piece to be part of this article here, and instead of one, we found five.
one of them: ‘Painful To Watch’. as the gold old indie days seem never to be over, because you can always hear some indie, we’d like to do the best of what we can do: share this gem with you, folks. magically appearin’ on the soundcloud-universe around one year ago, you can just smile after you have listened to the succulent output that has been put out by the gents from ‘FOURS’.

bein’ released as a debut single from their upcoming long play, which has been announced for the upcoming october, you can catch a glimpse of how you can perceive the idea & concept behind ‘anxiety pop’ & of course, the way of sounding of their promising soon-to-be-released album.
