#FF070: ‘Cathartic Caper’

it’s the sixth of june & we’re back in business. since mondays tend to be exhaustin’, we decided to invest some time to make it less enervatin’.
but how? well, one option might be to create a playlist, with decent tunes & let them be heard by you & you. another, a panoply of memes.
yet, we’re not really interested to change the purpose of this site by postin’ silly pictures with inaccurate statements – as we love to say that we’re here only to talk about the music & nothing else, this site will be presentin’ aural input from day to day. since nowadays those gargantuan sites tend to be a platform to present those pictures or a irrelevant rumor about person ‘xy’, it’s quite sad that the main purpose is diminishin’ from day to day.
of course, as most of them have specific contracts or have to fulfill specific rates of clicks per day, it’s still a shame that it evolved in that way.
yet, as we tend not to lose focus, shall we talk about the pieces that we have put here in? we guess, it’s about time. article, number seventy, say ‘hi’:

1. Teru – Missing A Part of Me, Death is The Solution (feat. Valley)

first come, first serve goes to our beloved friend, the beatmaker with soul, ‘Teru’. we recently got in touch with him, where he was informin’ us about his latest release, the extended play called ‘Formale Decease’.
so, we did what we had to do & were surprised by his evolvement since the last time. in the music world, it’s not always the same thing that you have to do: create the so called bangers, to stay relevant to public. it’s a personal choice, what you want to do & what you want to convey. as our friend informed us that this extended play might sound different than his usual pieces, we were touched by the emotional connection between the instrumental & its creator. since, our primary thought about music is to express emotions, we were intrigued by the soul-touchin’ fusion between the instrumental & the vocals, that has been delivered by upcomin’ artist ‘Valley’, which can be heard our pick of the mini-album: ‘Missing A Part of Me, Death is The Solution’. bein’ released as a total freebie, we’d like to invite you to get your copies of each of these as soon as you have the time for it. an emotional piece that has to be on your list. now.

2. YYY – Grl

it has been quite a while since we have featured a ‘YYY’-track here. too long to say, after we recently checked one of his latest releases: ‘Grl’. but why? if you press play, let the music begin, you’ll understand. not only that the london-based producer knows how to meticulously set a crispy bass line, but also due the fact that the eery-yet-catchy vocal chops tend to stick in your eardrums for a while.
so, after a few, ok better said, a dozen listenings, we decided to put that piece here on the list. not only that we love to hear solipsistic creations, such as his, but also to let the people know, that there are artists that they need to jot their name down.
bein’ released as a freebie, we’d like to invite you to get your copy of this bass-masterpiece immediately after you have finished your cucumber. because if you’re checkin’ it out before finishin’ off eatin’, you’re probably goin’ to drop it.
be sure to follow ‘YYY’-path, because there is more to come of his beat kitchen in the near future.

3. White Wolf – Change Has Come (Feat. Lemolo)

next song we’re goin’ to talk about is the collaboration between to impressive musicians that we recently have discovered: essex-based ‘White Wolf’ who has collaborated with seattle-based ‘Lemolo’.
while doin’ our daily pursuit of mellifluous creations, we stumbled over their’s, which is named ‘Change Has Come’. by pressin’ play, we somehow made the best decision of the day, to say. not only that the combination between these two gifted musicians tend to sound tenaciously-good, but also the fact that this piece here won’t be the climax of their artistical evolvement. furthermore, we’d like to call this piece here: a glimpse on their future.
if you press play & let the music do its thing, we’d like that you use the time, check out other release of these two here.
as we love to say that melodies tell a specific story & lyrics a succinct moment of the life of its creator, we’re pretty sure that both musicians will sugarcoat your time.

4. Richard Alfaro – Our Thing (feat. Tainsus)

next song that is on the list is named ‘Our Thing’. bein’ created as a collaboration between el paso-based artist ‘Richard Alfaro’ & paris-based musician ‘Tainsus’.
as we were perusin’ the internet for sublime creations & aural delicacies, we stumbled over this electronic-tune that gained our hearts, whether by its mesmerizin’ melo composition or its soothin’ vocals, that has been written & composed by ‘Tainsus’.
while listenin’ to this piece here, we’d like to invite you to get yourself a copy of it & put it on your walkman. not only that this here might be a perfect example of a track, that you’ll never delete from your iPod, but also that it shows you the true potential that these two lads are goin’ to use with the time passin’ by.
be sure to press ‘follow’ & don’t forget to listen to it to some proper headphones.

5. CJ Mirra – Young Macaw

last song of today is a real stunner. bein’ recently in touch with the lads of ‘Colour8’, a label/collective based in london, we exchanged some words about one of their latest releases: the extended play called ‘Young Macaw’.
bein’ created by sound designer, producer & label member ‘CJ Mirra’, what you’re goin’ to hear is a broad variation of sounds, that has been mixed together impeccably, to create a unique sound scape that you probably haven’t heard before.
as we were writin’ this article here, it has been really tough to decide, which piece we’re goin’ to feature. after a couple minutes, we decided to feature track number one, which has the same title as the extended play. but why? not only due its succinct synth composition but also the variation of sounds that are goin’ to mesmerize you.
as we love to feature upcomin’ brands, musicians & labels, we’d like to invite to check this piece here out. after that, click on the provided link & let the magic of this astonishin’ label engulf you.
