chapter 28 – solanthology
hello. a new day, a new chapter. so let’s keep this here terse and start with the presentation of the next part of this mellifluous anthology. chapter 28, it’s about time:
1. Graves x BBYGURL – Heart Eyz
we’d like to start with ‘hearty eyz’, a secret gem straight from london-based graves & bbygurl (whose origins are unknown, it would be great if someone would help us to find himher). graves is one of a kind, a guy who is incredulously unknown in the world. it is getting more ludicrous while checking out his other productions on his profile. thank god we have found him and we’re pleased to talk a little bit of this fellow producer. to speak some words about the track itself: a pile of trenchant basslines, fused with the young-girl-acapella, that let you get goose-pimples or how some us may say: the goose-bumps. ‘heart-eyz’ can be played in a club, on your diskman, wherever you might want to hear some good vibes. fortunately, the track is available as a freebie. so go fetch a copy of this, give it a like, a repost. instant support, instant post.
2. Playn – For Real
‘for real’ is a song from producer playn whose plans are obvious: create some dancy vibes to entertain you and your uncle. why? it has all the elements of a successful track in the club, the gym or the family’s dinner place. we’ve been introduced to this song by our fellow friends of ‘nightcap’, which is a bristol-based electronic label. ‘nightcap’ also collaborates with the label ‘M14’, which we already featured in one of our last chapter of the solanthology. the artist itself, ‘playn’ comes straight from french city ‘montpellier’ and he delivers yet again the evidence that the french do know to make music. to be a little specific about ‘for real’: a song with elements from UK bass, bassline house & garage music. we actually don’t know with which part we should start to talk about, so we keep the decision to you, if you a.) like the intro, b.) the bridge, c.) the bassline or d.) the perfectly set vox acapellas. p.s: it’s a freebie.
3. Ray Volpe – By Your Side (MaXD Remix)
so, we go on and booom. what did we just listen to? the first reaction was something between: wooooow and more wooowww. the second, probably something between drooling and abusing the replay button. ‘by your side’ was originally composed by ny-based producer ray volpe, who likes to do things in dubstep, glitch hop and trap. the song has got a refreshment by several producers, one of those was maXD aka max trippenbach. the kid from canada, did it in the maXD-way. well what that this suppose to mean? the trippenbach-boy did something magically with the provided stems of volpe. the genre: forget it, a genrefication is futile. and if so, well it would end up like electronic-dubstep-futuristic-callitwhateveryouwant-bass. the remix-refix is something that has to be downloaded on your mobile device, praise the lord, all you have to do is to press the provided link on the track to catch yet-another-piece-of-pulchritude for free. well, let’s keep the description terse, and get back to listen to it just for once again. thank you max!
4. ∂jgor x OLFVN – drifting awäy
the next song can be put into the music-for-emotional-and-outstanding-moments-section. we’re talking about ‘drifting awäy’ by polish producers’∂jgor’ (obviously pronounced ‘ajgor’) and ‘olfvn’. to be a little bit precisely: we do have here a production with influences from hip hop, future bass and ambient music. a synth composition that let’s your body melt away. an ambient way of creation that could be perfectly fit in the soundtrack of a thriller or drama movie. ‘drifting awäy’ is unfortunately not available as a free download, maybe in time, they’re going to put on a download link, but right now, it does not really matter. all you have to do is give them a like, a repost and embrace the moment while listening to the song. thank both of you for the creation, we’re pleased for your upcoming projects!
5. drip-133 – unless im wrong (feat. bones)
final track, yet-another-ambient-esque track that is simply magnificent. it’s a song to relax, enjoy and think about incidents in the past. to be precisely about the artist: origins unknown, current country unknown. but that fact that we really do know nothing about the artist is currently irrelevant. this here is about the music, whether you’re coming from the north pole or sweet indonesia. drip-133 is definitely one of these people who would like to tell a story by his or her music, entertain and enrich us. the only thing to lambaste about ‘unless im wrong’ is maybe the length of the song – it’s too short (said with a tearful and shuddering voice). feel free to check the track, the artist and the other creative work on his or her soundcloud page. immediate support, immediate post.
and it’s time to say again, to keep an eye on these people,
to say hi, wait for more updates and a goodbye.
if u want to send some cat pictures or simply to say hi, holla at:
the end of the tale, but not of this book.
