chapter 13 – reluctant routine.
hey. no intro. too lazy. we directly start with chapter thirteen.
1. Braeden Bailey – Lazarus Opening Suite (Rough Draft):
we’d like to start with the lazarus opening suite by dallas-based braeden bailey. for fuck sake, what did we find here? lazarus is goin’ to be a side-project (?) of bailey himself. and if u click urself thru his soundcloud, u can see the stark difference between his former productions and this. this song is difficult. difficult? yieah, because u can not describe the feeling u have while listenin’ to this track. sorry folks, this is not trap music. it’s the fuckin’ future. not that kind of future, where u probably goin’ to use the maledict term ‘future bass’ (please, dont). the future. the opening suite of his project lazarus let u reminisce about the last brainfuck u had while listenin’ to flying lotus long-anticipated long play ‘u’re dead’. if u still did not check out that album, we don’t recommend to do that after checkin out the lazarus opening suite. u would probably start to drool more, or even turn into a fountain. we looooove it, we always support it, posted. ok.
follow braeden bailey:
2. Harikiri – I Miss You (X&G Remix):
‘i miss you’ by harikiri was recently released as one of the tracks from the extended play (?) named natsu by trapdoor records as a freebie, also included remixes by couple of artists. remixes like that by x&g, which stands for xian & gaszia, two musicians comin’ from salt lake city. if u checkin’ out the freebie, u’ll see the different influences of genres that are merged in this two-houndred-and-nineteen-seconds piece of music. influences from jazz, glitch, hip hop, trip hop. x&g put their brand, their style on the original and took it to the next level. if u love experimental music, this is goin’ to be ur ish. supported, loved, posted.
3. Andru – ECCO:
we come with another andru release. track name: ecco. track description: the intro itself starts with a cake of mixed melos, synth-berries, lushgreen apple-chop-acapellas. the breakdown: lunatic. the bassline: a fairytale. a merger between owsey, sorrow, kaytranada, …, we could go on, but hell no, that would end up in a mess. this track is one of those where u really not sure, how to react to it. u’re probably goin’ to ask urself: ehrm, should i dance to it? or simply enjoy the vibes, the atmos, the creation by mister andru (?) and meanwhile ur still askin’ urself, the track has already ended, so that u’re forced to press play again and make spontaneously a decision. we would recommend u to chill dude. it’s not that we dont like to dance to pieces of pulchritude. more likely we like to appreciate the moment, in which we’re riveted by the unprecendented influx of harmony in ur mind, ur body, ur area, the city, the country, the planet, or even the whole fuckin’ galaxy. thank u andru, we love this here totally.
4. Goldlink – Ay Ay (Gravez VIP) (ft. Drewsthatdude & Scolla)
gravez recently dropped his vip of goldlink’s ‘ay ay’, with the support of drewsthatdude & scolla. and yes we can say that this vip is a bomb. usually all the vips, remixes, refixes of good tracks are endin’ bad, or let’s say, worse than an apocalypse. this here, bless god, is one of those, which is as good as the original or even better. the track starts with a merger of the vox of the original (the good old ‘paaaapi, paaapi-vox-chops’) with the new ones, then comes the breakdown, and the gravez vip bassline totally mesmerizes u, and never lets u free. supported, posted, thank u dudes.
5. Incipe – Gully Valentino
last stop and we got a good one. incipe’s gully valentino. if u simply press play, and let the music influence ur surroundings, every kind of frenzy, loudness, altercation turns into a piece of harmony, serenity. well, that would be the first reaction. the second one would be like: ‘awhwhwhwhwh-mah-god-zoosooos-gooood’ (it’s to make a confession, that was our’s). gully valentino is a refix of bobby valentinos ‘tell me’. refix, remix, reinterpretation, please use ur own word. while checkin out the soundcloud of incipe, u dont get much infos, neither where the artist is from nor any kind of other networks where he/she is. do us a favor, check out his discography. there are a bunch, a pile of unprecendented songs, that u might want to download too. oh yieah, btw: that track is a freebie too.
meanwhile, go check out these dudes (yieah, we’re goin’ to use this sentence for the rest of ur life). ok. bye. love u.
the end of the tale, but not of this book.
